StretchingSA specializes in stretch therapy and was founded by Hans de Wit in 2005. Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) and Active Isolated Strengthening are the two major components of our field.

Stretch therapy was developed over the past 55 years by our pioneer and inventor of this technique, Aaron L. Mattes. Mattes is the founder of StretchingUSA, StretchingSA is a close affiliate of this organization, and carries the values, principles and techniques as being taught by Aaron Mattes.

StretchingSA is the only company in Africa having an affiliation with StretchingUSA, and is the only organization capable of teaching, supporting, and building stretch therapy on our continent. Over the past years, we have developed a complete franchise for individuals interested in pursuing a career in stretch therapy.
